Online piano lessons in London, live and personal. Mirco Lieber, MMag. is a concert musician and keyboard instruments specialist with completed concert studies in accordion, harpsichord and organ (MDW Vienna and Ljubljana). He has played piano professionally for over 30 years and teaches students of all ages, from children of about six to adults and older beginners. Lessons run live on Zoom, in real time, from your own living room.

Why choose online piano lessons in London

The biggest advantage for London students: you are not tied to your teacher's location. Whether you live in Central London, Greenwich, Camden, Hackney, Islington, Southwark, Wimbledon, or anywhere else in England, you get a pianist with international teaching experience who simply is not available locally everywhere. On Zoom, posture, wrist and fingering are corrected just as precisely as in the same room, often more clearly, with a close-up camera angle on the keyboard and hands. You learn in the environment where you will actually play.

Who are online piano lessons for?

Beginners: fundamentals, posture, first chords, simple pieces and reading music.

Returning players: build on existing knowledge, get a clear practice plan and avoid bad habits.

Advanced students: interpretation, technique and concert repertoire at a professional level.

Children (from about 6): short, playful lessons; parents are welcome to sit in on the Zoom session.

What do you need to start?

Any keyboard. A weighted keyboard with 88 keys is ideal, but the very first lesson works on a simple keyboard with at least 61 keys. Beyond piano, Mirco also teaches accordion, harpsichord, organ and melodica online.
