Whether you're an adult in the UK who has always wanted to play, a parent looking for real lessons for your child, or a teenager ready to go past an app, online piano lessons work for every age. No driving across the country, no rigid schedule, no self-consciousness about starting from zero.
I'm Mirco Lieber, MMag., a Vienna-trained concert musician with 30+ years of teaching experience, and I teach students of all ages, children from around age 6, teens, adults, and older beginners. My students join from across the United Kingdom, from London, Manchester and Bristol to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Cardiff, Belfast and Newcastle. Lessons run on UK time (GMT / BST), so evening and after-school slots are easy to arrange wherever you are.
Why Online Piano Lessons Work for Every Age in the UK
Online lessons remove the three biggest barriers UK families face: time, distance, and access to a specialist teacher. Children learn from home with a parent nearby; adults fit lessons around work; rural and island learners in the Highlands, mid-Wales or Northern Ireland reach a conservatory-trained teacher who simply isn't available locally. No commute, no waiting room, just structured coaching adapted to each student's age and level.

Learning piano at any age has never been more accessible in the UK. Whether it's your child's first melody or your own long-postponed goal of Chopin nocturnes, jazz standards or classical repertoire, I'll meet each student where they are and take them further than they thought possible.
Also teaching kids & adults in Ireland, the United States, Canada, and Australia.
