Why a fingering chart makes the start easier

If you are starting accordion as an adult, you do not have to memorise sheet music first. The bass side of the instrument uses the Stradella system: fixed chord buttons instead of individual notes. Many accompaniment patterns can be learned directly from a fingering chart, even before you master classical notation.
