Mirco Lieber, MMag., lives in Ponta Delgada, in São Miguel, Azores (Portugal), and is a concert musician with two completed concert degrees: accordion at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana and harpsichord at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW), where he also studied organ.

Piano and accordion: a popular combination

Piano is the best choice if you love classical, pop and jazz music and playing with both hands. On the accordion you learn the bellows, the bass buttons and the coordination of both hands. Many students enjoy studying both instruments together, building a broad musical foundation.

Age and experience

You can start at any time, even with no previous experience. Most students are adults and seniors returning to music or starting for the first time. Children's lessons are shorter and more playful.

Live online lessons: keyboard instruments and more

I teach keyboard instruments (instruments with a keyboard): piano, accordion, keyboard, organ, harpsichord and melodica, live and individually on Zoom. Whether you want online piano lessons or online accordion lessons, the teaching adapts to each student, whatever your age or experience.

How live online lessons work

Keyboard instrument lessons run live on Zoom. I use several smart cameras that show the keys, the bellows (on the accordion) and posture at the same time, so technique correction is as precise as in a face-to-face lesson. All lessons are recorded to review.

For most instruments a digital instrument or a keyboard is enough; you do not need to buy an acoustic piano right away.
