Looking for a harpsichord teacher who truly moves you forward? A concert harpsichordist with the Cembalo Magisterium (Vienna MDW) and a parallel organ education, over 30 years of teaching experience, and students worldwide, live via Zoom, fully tailored to your level and repertoire.
Why is this harpsichord teacher different?
Most keyboard teachers focus on the piano; the harpsichord is a specialised instrument with its own touch, ornamentation, and figured-bass practice. This teaching is led by your repertoire: you learn touch, articulation, ornamentation, and basso continuo exactly where the music needs them, from Bach to Scarlatti and Couperin.
| Your goal | How lessons work |
|---|---|
| Piano player, new to harpsichord | Transfer of technique, harpsichord touch, ornamentation |
| Absolute beginner | Posture, first pieces, beginner figured bass within weeks |
| Advanced | Historical performance practice, continuo, concert repertoire |
| Early-music enthusiast | Stylistic fidelity, ornamentation, registration |
Why can you trust this teacher?
The difference between a trained concert musician and a marketplace teacher shows up in the depth of training. The Cembalo Magisterium is one of the highest harpsichord qualifications in the world and the core of this teaching.
